Speas Fish Hatchery

Speas Fish Hatchery Project began in September, 2007. 71 Construction crews have worked non-stop through two winters. The project is now on its second summer and has a scheduled completion date late in the fall of 2009. Wyoming Game & Fish contracted 71 to do all of the dirt work, pipe installation, concrete forming and finishing, together with buildings and landscaping to expand and improve the Dan Speas Rearing Station. The improvements should allow the facility to triple the amount of fish they put out each year.
