Brownfield Road Drainage
The project included the construction of multiple pipe
culvert systems to convey water across both Brownfield and Smylie roads on the
south end of Douglas. Previous culverts were undersized causing both roads to
be flooded during rainfall events. The project included cast in place inlet
structures and had to go under the main sanitary sewer trunk lines serving the
entire Town of Douglas.

Washington Park Bleachers
Washington Park Bleacher project changed an old style wood
and post seating into concrete platforms that fans could bring lawn chairs to
sit on. The project became complicated when precast concrete wall sections did
not reach the angled corners because of their standard lengths and thicknesses.
Many hours were spent by project foreman Dave Donahoo to cut and fit, measure
and shove each block into place and pour concrete that came to that same point
in space! A storm sewer was installed to drain water from the floor
section.
Concrete was furnished by Mobile Concrete. Concrete blocks were from Wyoming Precast Products.. The owner was the City of Casper Recreation Dept. Most of the engineering was by 71 Construction.
